- Ron Loveridge05.07.2018★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆We booked online, completed pre-registration and purchased the value package to 'save time and hassle'. We rang in the morning to make sure we could pick up early. Still had to wait over an hour while the sole rep worked his way through the queue of people waiting to pick up. Other staff arrived at 9 am so the queue moved faster but the process took almost 2 hours. We were still asked to pay for more extras such as tyre and windscreen insurance, toilet chemicals, cleaning and fuel, none of which were listed online. The Apollo fleet is good quality but the Cheapa option uses older vehicles from their fleet so expect some minor damage and faulty fittings. Some things needed attention before we would accept our vehicle. Our overall experience was ok but expect a long wait on both pick up and return.
